Another fab trip with Cold Fusion!! This is my 4th trip with the team (last in 2018) and they didn’t disappoint. Lovely super clean well equipped chalet with hot tub... read more and sauna, comfy beds, loads of delicious food and super welcoming staff (Ed and Mikeala) and most important a great group of solo skiers. We were ferried about the ensure region even heading into Courmayeur and St Gervais. The chalet is in Les Houches which is quieter than Chamonix town center but perfectly located for a hard week on the slopes and the Kitch Inn still good for apres!
Cold Fusion isn’t the cheapest but for the quality and the connection to like minded skiers in a quality environment with great food you can’t go wrong: yes the Wi-Fi might be a bit out of sorts but I wasn’t planning to work and it was ample for my needs as was reception for roaming!

Steve and Nicky did such... read more a great time organizing the trip, planning events, looking at the weather and conditions for the best skiing/snowboarding experience and hiring the best staff. Mikaela, Marie Hellen, and Ed were top-tier and provided the best hospitality. Authentic, home-cooked meals were delicious and provided by the wonderful Marie Hellen, and Ed and Mikaela maintained the chalet so well, accommodated all of the transportation, hung out with us, and were so open and inviting. So many of the attendees have done multiple Cold Fusion holidays and I totally get the hype. You meet so many new people and I can see myself maintaining friendships in the future and hopefully will be attending another holiday with familiar faces. While December is early for the season and some chairs and slopes were closed, there still was a lot open and the team really made sure we got the best experience and snow for the timing of the trip. Such a good value for your money in my opinion for 7 days of great skiing, food, and company.

The whole holiday ran like clockwork from collection at the airport, welcome reception at the hotel through to dining out in the evenings. Steve has everything covered even on his nights off, Totally recommend to anyone thinking of a solo ski trip.

It's always great meeting new people with the same interests and we had the same agenda for the week. Steve was an awesome host, making sure we were all at the right locations at the right times, managing to cover 7 resorts in 6 days! The hotel was great as a base for a change, although a bit more formal than the previous chalet arrangement. Eating out options were plentiful and we covered most styles of cuisine (mostly organised by Steve). Covid restrictions were manageable enough with the Passe Sanitaire system, so no issues there. Blue skies every day (unfortunately no powder, but enough snow) and it has been another trip to add to the memory banks. Definitely intending to come back next year!

The Hotel Prieure was fabulous, rooms were cosy, staff friendly and a wide choice of food at breakfast. Overall a really great week away!
